Well, I’m boring you, I’m sure, with all this “IT’S HOT” stuff, but it’s HOT! There’s not really much one can do, being a kitty in a fur coat, but take a nice long ahhhhh on the cool tiles of the terrace. Plus it feels good.
I am sure that in a few minutes mama is going to rattle the kibble jar and invite me to dinner, but do I care? It’s just too hot to EAT.
ER…let me rephrase that…it’s too hot to eat MUCH.

Merci, Loulou. Mama mumbling something about how my appetite seems to never be affected…. Did you get frightened by the fireworks? We had ours here Saturday – we didn’t go, but we heard them. Last night I refused to go out. It was sprinkling – so THEY went out with a couple of friends to hear the music and watch the illuminations. The music was nice but they waited until 11 PM (supposed to happen at 10:30) for the lights (which didn’t happen until later, I suppose) and came home. Think I’ll take a nap…..
Oh, we listened to faint boom booms until sleeping. Our house is really in a good location. No tourists, no noise, no music from bands except distant and pleasant and no boom booms. Yet. Our turn is August 15th. We
