I wanted to reach out and touch someone today…I can do that, you know, to anyone I please. So cool….
This is Earth Day mama.
Mama says that this link is a long read, but if anyone has time to even skim the article, the evidence of why Earth Day came into being and why we need it so much will be evident.
So I guess my spark for today, this very important day for the whole planet is this:
Be aware every single morning that you awaken of the earth’s gifts to you and of the gifts you can give back, with very little effort, to our planet.
Maybe feed some birdies…
Grow some rosies…
First of all we just love that photo of you and your Mama having a “moment” together……and all the “in honor of Earth Day” photos too. We are lucky to have such a beautiful world to live in but we must be careful not to HURT it more than we already have…..

You are so right, Mr T. We need to listen up to Mama Nature, every single day, as she speaks to us ALL THE TIME, saying NO NO don’t do that!!!!There are alternatives.
Taking good care of things isn’t so hard, if we’d all do it, things would get better.

I do reach out and touch anyone I like now and they sort of suspect something and feel all nice inside but they don’t see me. Maybe….
What a lovely picture of you and your Mom, Loulou! Earth Day and all efforts to protect the natural world are vitally important. As a child I was told that we could not go into the water in certain creeks because they were polluted. So I knew from early on that something was terribly wrong and things needed to change. I sure hope that’s possible and that we can also reverse the damage already done.
My goodness, Leah, that is so alarming. And that was not long ago, I’m sure! So many are trying to reverse it but so many are not helping.
