This is NOT mama’s refrigerator, but you get the drift…For one thing, there is NO crab meat in this one!

Oh, boy, mama just called me to say that her refrigerator was not making ice and so she went to the control panel, intending to turn the fridge off and then on and when she turned the dial to OFF, it did not turn on again!!!

And she had just put a lot of good things IN it from the market—guacamole, a little steak for papa (yeah, for HIM, not ME), some beautiful vegetables and salad fixings and a nice Greek yogurt, not to mention the hand-picked crab meat that you can find so easily in Texas.

Oh, boy. Oh, boy.

This on top of the fact that papa is lying up in bed with a fever and other things and must have eaten something funny when they were out at one of their mandatory lunches between appointments. And I know for a fact that they love to eat at home with good, healthy lunches to sustain them through all of this rigorous trip.

Maybe it was the goat crepe at the Indian restaurant, but mama doesn’t think so. That was two days ago and this just happened today. So mama went out and found Gatorade and Ferarelle mineral water and electrolyte water and made papa some chicken broth and rice soup and half a baked potato and he’s feeling better. I hope. Papa never gets sick.

But the fridge evidently does! Maybe mama should take its temperature, too.

Well, I’m going to try to calm her down by sending a picture of me to soothe her nerves and also to make papa laugh a little while he’s downing his acetamenophen and drinking all that weird stuff and maybe the nice maintenance man won’t be unhappy to be called out at 10pm to fix everything…

Maybe.

I just don’t want that CRAB MEAT TO SPOIL. They might be bringing that back here to me!!!

See, mama and papa, I’m doing a little dance for you so you’ll feel better! Just call me Pavlova…haha.
