WHAT?
Haha, mama was with a friend today who was telling her about her favorite name for a daughter, which was Charlotte, but if she and her husband had had children she could never have named her daughter Charlotte.
”Why”, of course mama asked.
Well, she said, because of our last name. And mama thought, okay, your last name is Gatto (as in the Italian for kitty, I might add and then the penny dropped! Her daughter would have been burdened with name Charlotte Gatto and gateau in French is CAKE.
So funny, so her daughter would have been named Charlotte “Gateau” and then mama told her about two sisters in Texas whose parents named them Ima and Ura. Unfortunately their last name was Hogg…..
HAHA, that’s hilarious, mama.
Okay, onward and upward. Just thought we could bring a little Tuesday tickle to the world at large…heaven knows it needs it.

Mama just wanted me to add this. President Zelenskyy gave one of the best addresses mama has ever heard to the United Nations, in ENGLISH, not Ukrainian, and he is eloquent, impassioned and an amazing and personally touching speaker.
I wish we could end this war and reunite children with their families.

We watched President Zelensky on the news this morning and indeed his plea for continued help was eloquent. We wish there would be NO MORE WAR ANYWHERE and the world could be at peace….what a wonderful world that would be.

Mama thinks he is one of the best speakers she has ever heard, and in English, so moving. SO why don’t we MOVE faster. We should have sent help on the first accumulation of Russian soldiers on the border over a year ago!!!!

That is pretty funny about the names. I used to like when Jay Leno showed wedding photos and the bride and groom’s last names together were funny. Ex: Golden Showers.

We heard Pres Zelensky’s speech (well, on TV) and were also pleased to be able to watch the five prisoners swapped out of Iran come home. One of them had 2 family members with him who had been forbidden to leave too even though they weren’t imprisoned. And of the 5 Iranians who were freed, two chose not to go back to Iran but t remain in America ! An interesting comment that they would rather stay in a country where they had been locked up (though of course they are now free) than to return “home.”
Very, very interesting choice. So glad he made that one and perhaps will help let others know the horrible restrictions of Iran and that there are other ways to live.
