Do I want to be carried upstairs? Is that it?

Okay, kitties  out there.  Mama needs help (on many things, mind  you, but specifically this…).

Here’s the MO…I get up, I have petit dejeuner, mama and papa do  the same. We are at table, I am wandering around, full and happy, and  every day, rain or shine, I start talking.  Just  a little meow here and  there, but meanwhile, I am looking at mama – for what?  More food?   Playtime?  Do I want to go out (we have no garden here)? Want to chat?  Want a snuggle? Meow, meow…

So mama thinks that maybe she is supposed to pick me up and snuggle me, and I stay there a minute or two in her arms and then I  want down and I wander off to snooze. “What do you WANT, Loulou,” mama cries.

WHAT AM I DOING after breakfast when I start talking to papa and  mama?  At that other place, I stop at the foot of the stairs, meow loudly with emotion at my portrait and then mama gets up from her breakfast to see what I want and I RUN up the stairs (I, who normally limp up!) and jump on the bed and start bathing as if nothing had happened.

WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS  MEAN?

Any suggestions are welcome, mama says.

(Heh, heh, but only I know what I am saying and doing….)

Maybe I just wish my portrait would come alive and play!
