Lazy, hazy days of summer…
Well, one can’t always be indoors snoozing on one’s chair, so I thought I would share with you one of my favorite garden sports in which I engage with great glee.
We have these nicely-warmed-up-from-the-sun stepping stones on which I LOVE to wiggle!
First I have a little nip and then approach the perfect stone to be my base. I’m just feeling them out at first. Then I squiggle and squirm on the chosen one to scratch my back (and tickle mama’s funny bone, of course), plus it feels SOOOOO good.
Then I just lie there in the sun and think how lucky I am to be a rollin’ stoner!
Or is it a stoned roller?
Loulou, did you get into the nip and become a stoned roller!? Did you sing? Mama got an article from New Orleans and the Rolling Stones played at the Superdome a little over a week ago – just after Hurricane Barry turned west. Have to say they weren’t a pretty picture – but hey, mama looked better about 40 years ago too!! Teehee – Don’t let her read this!!
Your mama looks BETTER than 40 years ago, we can confirm that, all three of us!

Funny how, in this heat, you kitties enjoy to lie on sun-warmed stones. Capucine, my three-color kitty, spends hours on “her” wall.
It must be good for your aging little bodies.

PeeEss: We still live in the same place as befur. The ‘pawrtments remodeled the whole complex and moved us out and back in via movers who damaged most of our stuffs, so it’s takin’ it’s toll on mommy. That’s why we haven’t visited much. We’re still unpackin’ and tryin’ to get moved back in.
Oh, what a shame. MOVERS…sometimes it can be very traumatic!!! But remodeled sounds nice.
How about a stone roller? Stoned roller sounds a bit like you’re about to be arrested. 🙂
I probably am with the stash mama has grown in our garden, haha. But humans can’t use it the way we do.

Oh, I’m so glad you like the pics. Mama does SOMETIMES get a few good ones…but then, the subject is moving around a lot.
