Oh, boy, my daily reading was just interrupted by an email comment from Binky who lives on San Juan Island where she runs around with chickens (they are FRIENDS-can you believe it?) and eats smoked salmon and local fish all day long and I’m wondering if I’m missing something…
But the thing I am missing first of all is comments from anyone. I was getting a lot of spam from anthros and kitties who, I thought, just wanted to connect, say hello, and so on, and it wasn’t so; they wanted to advertise something. So I put a spam guard on my site and then I got nothing. Zilch. Zero. Nil. Nulla. Rien.
So if anyone out there wanted to make a comment or just say ‘get lost’ or whatever he or she or they might have wanted to say, perhaps it would be best to try again. Sorry for all this mix-up, but sometimes bloggers just want to use site’s comments box to advertise and so they impolitely glom on to other kitties’ blogs and hope no one notices. I certainly would have answered all myow-mail from anyone else, but you can bet your paws I’m not ever going to buy that item someone tried to advertise on my site anyway. I choose my links and who may advertise on this site, and I think that’s okay with everyone.
As if I wouldn’t notice a gazillion emails to me having to do with something a kitty would never use in a million years!!! Like, for example, DOG collars!!! Or those little blue pills that anthros are so crazy about. Do I really look that dumb??? Plus I’m a girl…
And I won’t say what that other item was because I don’t want to advertise the dumb thing that person talked about.
So I hope my myow-mail is back to normal and that you continue being surprised and amazed at my inane ruminations.
I think I’ll get back to my reading. I’m in the middle of The Critique of Purr Reason…
We turned our comment moderator on to kick out all those appalling advertisements, too. We definitely feel your pain!
Isn’t it just the pits???? Some people just have no couth! Whatever that is. Hope the sweet lady cats are well and happy.
