Well, THEY finally did it.
Papa was in The Business as they say in Hollywood, told mama he was a little rusty, and mama, well…
Mama was the forget-your-lines-and botch-the-continuity (amateur!) “actress”…I use the word loosely. She probably only got this part because she slept with the director..
BUT…if the editor comes to work today, the pasta video may be up by Monday.
MAMA…GET TO WORK!
So there were all the ingredients, thanks to finally having basil that Aunty Lynne offered for the shoot ( weird to me that one says “shoot” a film…maybe a Western, haha) and FINALLY papa said, “action” and mama started doing the recipe but forgot to put in the olive oil and forgot to talk about the beautiful multi-colored tomatoes and forgot to mention boiling the pasta water first, etc etc etc….
SO…after a shaky start, the video was FINALLY made and both of them had a drink, haha. I, too, hit the bottle after such stress. My water cocktail with a shot of healthy teeth whatever it is additive really hit the spot.
Looonnnng afternoon. This movie business is exhausting…
