Papa, I’m smiling because this video is so FUNNY!
Well, even if you do not speak Japanese, this video posted on Gwen Cooper’s blog, gwen@gwencooper.com, is absolutely adorable, and even I, who cannot imagine being submerged in water or even sprinkled (!) laughed myself silly over it. Okay, sillier.
What a group of rascals! So thank you, Gwen, for giving us a laugh for today!
When I am spacing out in the garden and watching the local Jack Russell be dumber every day as he chases invisible ghosts and mama wants me inside, all she has to do is turn on her hose to water plants and I’m in the house pronto!
She NEVER squirts me or lets the water get near me, because it’s enough just to hear that hose thing and I’m outta there quicker than a gnat can swim a dipper, whatever they are.
And, by the way, the crossing was uneventful – I curled up in the closet on my new softy thingy and slept, and driving to Rome I was a paracat of virtue.
But when I get home, I head for the closet there, too, for a few winks.
But…sigh…no garden here and lots of rain.
If I need a bath I’ll just step outside, haha.

Good thing your mama never squirts you with that hose. That’s not how a kitty takes a bath. 🙂
Oh, mama would never be that mean. It’s the sound that makes me move quickly…
We hope that Russel soon moves off LouLou. We saw that Video too and laughed out loud. Dad too
Actually, she is there for good! His daddy is a longtime resident of our little ville. Sarah, the JR, is sort of cute, the way she runs around in circles chasing ghosts!
Awww, Loulou that made me laugh so hard! What a bunch of cuties. But, yes, cats are self-cleaning animals so no human baths necessary.
Oh, I’m so glad you agree…otherwise, uh, oh for me. But mama has NEVER brought water near me, I am so, so squeaky clean, and thank to me, so it she, haha.
WOW, Loulou – I think your mama and papa should build YOU a bathroom like the one in the film!!! Those were happy cats. Giggle, giggle……but soooo glad the trip went well and you’re snuggles at your residence secondaire! In Rome, no less!! Sorry about the rain – but that just means mama and Papa will spend more time with you inside!!!
I think they will, and I’m thinking, climbing post so I can see out of the bathroom window…

Well, this is a closet with only 3 shelves for papa’s tech stuff and mailing envelopes, etc. Not very important so it makes a good little snooze corner.
