Is that all WATER?

Hah!!! Did I fool them.  They think those Spot-on drops helped me get my sea legs and chill out on the water, but it was I who managed my anxiety about being out there with tankers pointed at me.  I just looked out the window…er…porthole and said, “Not for me, honey–just show me to my hiding place and I’m cool for about 24 hours.  Maybe a little kibble to help me sleep.” The funny thing is that mama FORGOT the kitty litter for my hygienic needs.  Can you believe it?  She never forgets THAT, and so we found ourselves at the dock about to sail (well, motor) with no litter and the ship was already about to start chugging and so mama ran out of the car and found an abandoned planter at the little café next to the ticket office, and did she plunge in and dig out dirt for my kitty box with her BARE HANDS?  Yes, she did, and I managed to feel more at home and secure when we arrived in the cabin and I saw that there was actually something in my little litter box that would…say…suffice.

I pushed aside the tin foil candy wrappers and cigarette butts, haha.  Just kidding.  But I did see mama get rid of a little spider who had had his home disrupted…Hey, dirt is dirt and in an abandoned planter in Italy, you could find anything!

Note dirt box in lower left corner…well, I guess it has to do.  Me, I’m outta here into the closet where I belong.

Suffice it to say, it worked.  But I mostly slept through the whole ordeal anyway and so did papa, I might add.  I think he was tuckered out for many reasons and he and I just curled ourselves up and went to dreamland for most of the trip. Here I am back at the ranch, anxiety-free and finished with my initial garden survey. Travel is great, travel is good for the expansion of the mind and spirit, travel is broadening……………………….they say. But back here, kitty litter abounding, stretched out on my comforter, am I relaxed or what? image
