SNAIL FEST
Oh, boy, was mama surprised today when she went out in the rain and found a very wild party of escargots hanging out on our wall! They had climbed up there overnight and who knows why, other than that it was drier and easy to cling to, haha. For some reason, our snails LOVE that wall.
Mama said that all she could think about was butter, garlic and parsley, haha.
Mama actually purged her garden snails many years ago by putting them in a screened container (for air) along with corn meal, and they ate the corn meal and then…
well…
cleansed themselves, so that mama could put all those other good things on them to bake in the oven. How the French love their snails!
Personally, I just like to watch them meander up a wall.
Puts me right to sleep…zzzzz

Yes, but mama will not eat them because you never know where a snail has been!
But mama won’t eat them because you never know where a snail has been, and our garden is biologique but the real reason is that it is too much trouble!
