So, there I am, minding my own business in a nice snoozy place, and my little pink nose tells me that mama is making fish and chips for dinner.
Well, I go into the kitchen because I definitely smell something good all the way upstairs and I say to mama, “Mama, there’s something fishy going on in the kitchen.”
And I’m waiting for her to laugh at my funny.
But she doesn’t.
Because she knows that I’m trying to butter her up to get a bite of the cod she’s sautéing, and she’s having none of that!
The buttering up, that is, not the cod. Or perhaps I should say, battering up, haha.
(I had already had dinner, after all, but does that stop us kitties when fish are frying?)
So I guess my quip bombed. Get it? Quip, chip, quip, chip?
Okay, basta, that’s it for today!
