That little white Irish donkey did WHAT?
Well, Pie, the Irish WHITE donkey, has finally found a home after terrorizing all the males in the field where he was put to…er…do whatever it is that donkeys do with some females to make more donks. BUT, even after he…er…completed his important mission, he continued to run after ALL the REST the girl donkeys and try to…er…do what donkeys do, and he scared and terrorized all the males and so there was talk of having him put down (we don’t like that phrase at all!) because you can’t…er…”fix” a donkey past a certain age and so everyone was up in arms because he had become a legend and a favourite around town and so they found someone who would take him, someone who fell in love with him and came up with an injection that…er…makes randy donks feel as if they are grooving on Prozac.
So that is the story of Pie. And, by the way, this is NOT Pie, he is much cuter than this little one, maybe more like this–
–minus the bangs, haha. But we couldn’t get a photo as it didn’t seem to come up on any website.
But we are always happy around here when a donkey gets loved and adopted and cared for, so that’s our story for today.

Ooooooh, Loulou – I can’t wait to see all the little white donkeys next year in Collioure, teehee!! Well the VERY good news is the Randy Irish Donk found a home!! Guess a lot of those donks got a piece of the Pie last week, teehee!!!!
Oh, the donkey is so cute (I’ve only seen him in the pepers) but he does live nearby! We’ll go visit.

I’m not sure the info Pie is putting out about why he must remain intact is accurate. Sounds like he has a good lobbyist. Maybe he’s trying to convince everyone he’s a mule…
Well, the story changed a bit in that the vet was unavailable to help him settle down and so they found this shot that can be given (saltpeter?) that settled him out a bit. But he’s a donk, that’s for sure.
Poor Pie. His life isn’t going to be as exciting but at least he will still have a life. How nice someone adopted him.
