Too hot to trot!

Well, our winds are blowin’ again and much to mama’s dismay, they are blowing tomatoes right off their vines!

I’d never heard of that but today it is 93F and the hot winds of Spain are whishing through our garden with full intent to lay waste the new tomatoes.

BUT…the ones who resist and will not be moved by anything (or even anyone, just yet!) are on a volunteer cherry tomato plant that mama let grow for Mya, the cherry-tomato-eating-doggie, should she ever get to visit before the season is out.

What is really strange is that we’ve not had this kind of wind nor weather before – it is much hotter than usual, like a desert, whatever that is.

I thought it was ice cream or mousse au chocolate haha.

Just kidding, I’m not that dumb…

Haha, desert – dessert, get it?

But at least we have our hibiscus to keep our spirits up.  It is blooming like gangbusters and there seems to be no end to the little buds on him/her.  Still not named.

Any suggestions?
