Loulou, Mom found this definition online that may be of some help: “a focus key phrase is the phrase that you want your post or page to be found for” – quote by Yoast. Mom says, “You want to make sure that your keyword is in your key phrase. So, for ex. if your post is about planting herbs in your spring garden then your focus keyword might be “herbs” and your key phrase “herbs for spring planting.” Purr purr purr.
Well, thank you, and mama tried a lot of words like French kitty blog, Kitty opinions, and more and the the Yoast people put a red face with a frown to say NO, NOT GOOD. Argggggh. But thanks to you and Brian, and I’m sure mama’s just not doing things right. Off to the guru!!!!
Well, Loulou – maybe we could do a duet!? But maybe it would never make YouTube since all I can do is howl! Pavarotti was sooooo wonderful and talented – and that birdie almost had it down pat! Mama just googled focus keyphrase and it was too complicated for her brain before coffee – but there’s lots of info there? She’s going for coffee now…….
Oh, mama spent half an hour simply asking, “What is a keyphrase” and found too much arcane language..whatever that is.
You sure look ready to shout it out Loulou! A focus key phrase is like a key word. If someone searches a key phrase it should lead them your way. For example, our focus key phrase is Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later! If you google that you’ll see who comes up first…or even google “Remember, adopt cats” with the quotes you see us first again. As you know it’s at the end of every blog post. Hope that helps.
