Well, not exactly “person”…maybe chair puss is more accurate, but today I am giving lessons in how to treat, educate and manage one’s chair.
Hi, everyone, be sure to have a pad and pencil (remember them?) ready for your lesson.
First, take control like this, spreading yourself all over the space you want:
Then make sure you check out ANYONE wishing to scootch you over and sit WITH (or ON) you. This is verboten! Whatever that means…
Next, push your chair with all four paws to make sure the chair is at its full capacity for your comfort and dreaming. You can always make it a little bigger with a bit more effort.
Now, choose your most favorite position in which to snooze and do not let ANYONE try to move you or sit with you or wake you up by snuggling. This is your moment, your chair. Begone, intruders!
Now, snooze away and know that your chair is THERE for you, always and ever.
So…do you get the picture? So easy, really, to keep your chair in its place when you assert yourself and make yourself CLEAR! Nighty night…and…CHAIRS, EVERYONE!

Oooh – Loulou, thank you for the chair lesson! You’ve really got the stretches down perfect. I’m going to try this in Papa’s chair and see if it works. But he will probably lure me away with food. Hey – not a bad idea!!!

Oh that was an excellent lesson. I missed several of these in my chair mastery times. I will employ these does immediately I get into a chair!
