Good job on the fill-ins dear Loulou! Time does heal the heart but leaves a little “reminder scar” (as if we all needed reminders about our losses!). I’m sure you have something planned for your Papa’s birthday. My Mom says she agrees with you about muffins – anything is good other than the muffin that bursts forth from the top of her jeans! LOL

The b’day is in a few days but mama thinks he may wish to be low-key at this age, haha.
Are those cabbages ? (We are not good at plants unless they are filled out.)It is nice to see green whatever they are.
Lettuces, and in The Taste of Things, they poach them to go with meats or fish. Mama is going to try it.
Those were lettuces and can be poached as they did in The Taste of Things but we just love salad!
