Cannes Do

Guess I’ll have to give up the bed, too…

Well, mama suggested that title, which to me sounds as if someone is having his/her hair done in Cannes, France, or maybe having a big party, or just maybe implies that in Cannes, you can DO things, which is probably more to the point, but which for me should be a DON’T because it is time for mama’s and papa’s trip to be OVER and done with, thank you very much!

I mean to say that these sweet little absences that give me time to myself, to reflect, to meditate, to, well, just groove, are all very helpful in contributing to my mindfulness, haha, but BASTA!  Enough is enough, okay? Get your b…er…selves back here, you hear?  This I, Me, My existence is a bit overrated, if you ask me.  Which no one did.  And yes, I will miss my extra snuggles and cuddles and brushings and treats, but hey, what do you think THEY do when they come back from being without my company for days on end?  Well, six days…

I think I’ll tidy the house and maybe fluff the couch pillows (after vacuuming them, haha) and if I can find a bottle pour a couple of glasses of vino when I hear the key in the lock tomorrow.

Hey, that vino’s not for them, it’s for ME to help me put up with these guys again…
