I can’t believe what happened in a little town nearby.
Well, you won’t belive this but a young woman, a marginale, as she is called in France, someone without a home who lives on the streets, went into a toabacco store on the main place in a town near us and pulled a kitchen knife on the owner and stabbed her and when her son tried to intervene, she stabbed him and they are not in good condition. She then asked someone to call the police. Whoa…
This place is a beautiful open space where everyone has coffee at the little cafes and where the opera house is and where there is an open market every morning and who on earth would ever think that something like this could happen. It is always so peaceful there.
On this same day, papa read to me from the New York Times that there was another random gun killing in the USA and I am beginning to wonder just what is happening with the anthro race when so many incidents of violence are in the news practically every day, often without explanations of why they happened except you can bet on one thing for sure in the case of attacks with guns: if the person could not easily get a gun, perhaps it would not have happened.
If there is one thing Obama could do in his last days it would be regulating the sale of guns to just any kitty, doggie or gerbil who wants one. I know this is not an easy problem. People hunt and will continue to hunt until all our game is gone, and some people will feel that they have to have protection in their homes by having a gun, but it seems that there are many, many others who simply wish to have a stash of arms in order to one day USE them on whomever they please—someone who has rubbed them the wrong way, someone who has said something they don’t like, someone who wishes to worship a different deity, and so on.
Yes, the world was violent in the past. Medieval times were fraught with killings and vengence and aggression and dog eat dog (so to speak), but one would think you anthros could have come a longer way, baby, than where you are today!!!
And now Donald Trump may be a Republican candidate. Are we all going blind along with becoming inured to violence?
Not me. I know what’s what. Loulou for president. My platform is peace, kindness, thoughtfulness, empathy, gun control, better education for ALL, medical help for ALL, freedom of worship for all, and above all, KIBBLE FOR ALL.

It seems like in our own part of this city there are attacks on people daily. What the heck have peoples learned in hundreds of years? How to kill more peoples for nothing?
We need a school for sensible gun use and respecting others.

YES, I am in total agreement. A sad state but perhaps it will change over time. Everyone seems to be tired of this violence.
