So these guys go out at night or whenever and they leave me at home to fend for myself, but what they do always is put on some music and I have grown very, very fond of this guy who blows really good horn by the name of Nello Salza and mama wrote to him to find out where he might be playing next so that she could surprise papa by taking him to hear Mr. Salza because they have a CD at home that is just BEE-OU-TI-FUL with Bach and arias from operas and one piece mama loves more than anything called Plaisir d’amour–well, you can figure that one out, right? And so he actually wrote back and mama found out that he and his brother were going to play at the Vatican garden IN ROME and so off they went to hear him and he was indeed there, playing all the music from films that he had recorded over the years because he is very famous in film music and if this sentence seems a little long, well it is, out of excitement that mama found him and gave the evening to papa for his birthday, which was in April but what the heck.

And they met the cutest couple from Los Angeles, Angelia and Austin, and I saw a picture of her doggy, Cooper, with a hat on that doesn’t spell my name right but it’s still LU, so that’s close enough and I fell for that doggy immediately so one day maybe I’ll visit him in LA, whatever that is. (LU is Liberty University, I learned but to me it’s part of my name!)

Well, I couldn’t turn this around and he spelled my name wrong, but Cooper is awful cute, for a doggy.

But you meet the nicest people just wandering around on travels and these kids were really adorable and lively and had been to Denmark and Sweden and Paris and everywhere in just three weeks and were headed home to that LA place, but maybe mama and papa will meet them again somewhere–you just never know what they can get up to!

And the horn man played in the Vatican garden, well, one of them, which is really beautiful, especially on a warm summer night and there was food (the bad seagulls showed up, those robbers, and tried to eat scraps off the ground but the waitress chased them away) and vino and soft lovely air and soft lovely horn and saxophone and it was just one of those magical things that happen every now and then.

Of course, I was at home. But what THEY don’t know is that I can teleport anywhere I want and spy on them.

Heh, heh, bet you didn’t know that, right?

Well, I can’t demonstrate that right now because it’s bedtime, but maybe one day…
