Well, this is something. Mama and papa went to an exhibit here in Rome centered around Cleopatra, and they mentioned that there was a large, beautifully preserved kitty that had been mummified in order to pass into eternity easily.  The kitty is believed to be a favorite pet of one of the rulers of that time but it is uncertain just who adored this kitty....
