(I was up there and I saw it)
*****
Today the sun hit the Pantheon at 1pm through the opening in the top at exactly the place that Hadrian, who built it, wished it to hit on this date when it was finished.
Unfortunately, mama and papa, shopping for groceries today, missed the time it happened!!! Oh, well, at least you can see the lovely Pantheon again here, side and front.

Bonjour, mama thinks the Pantheon is the most beautiful and moving monument in Rome and so took another photo of the lovely side of it and another photo of our ‘foot’ out the window with the wall behind it! Who on earth would put ‘CAT’ on the wall over the foot? Maybe just a kitty-lover like all of us, haha.

Papa just explained that the famous photo of the HUGE foot with a kitty on it inspired some grafitti-artist to write “cat”above our little foot we see every day on the street. So funny, mama never knew that. She wants to go and put a small fake stuffed kitty on the foot one night late but of course, someone will come along and nab it….
So our Wordless Wednesday is a bit chatty. At least it’s posted on the right day, for a change!
😻

Nice photos. XO
MERCI, enjoy!
Well, if someone is going to deface a building, at least they used a word we like!
HAHA THAT’S HILARIOUS. So wise of you to see the real meaninngs in life!!
I think you mama should put a stuffed kitty on the foot, Loulou. It’ll be fun.
She’s thinking about it…
The Pantheon is beautiful and it’s amazing how the engineers can be so precise with their building.
A miracle of engineering.
We don’t mind chatty, sweetheart, we like to see effurrything of Rome again. It has been so long that Granny was there, but she remembers it all…not the foot though🐱Extra Pawkisses for you all🐾😘💞
It’s still Rome but overrun with tourists, haha.

It is rather upsetting…some grafitti are being painted over but there are too many to tackle.
