Well, Ernie from The Island Cats let me in on the Kitten Bowl and I took a selfie with the cutest little grey and white kitty, Catsanova, one of the Kitten Bowl picks this year. But I didn’t even know what the Kitten Bowl is! And actually, I still don’t. Something to do with Hallmark cards, I think. But I guess everyone who could have would have seen it on Sunday last.
Still, it was fun having a selfie with this cutie above.
I think I have to keep up on things a bit better, and faster. Life is passing me by when I haven’t even heard of the Kitten Bowl!
Mama’s friend, Steve, goes to almost every Super Bowl that ever has been, and I guess it’s a place where even people with opposing views get together for an event that they all share, even if they differ the rest of the year, haha.
Well, just wanted to share my selfie. Thank you, Ernie, for clueing me in on these fun events. I live a sheltered life in this little ville and any news you can send my way is welcome.
Since I write most of my blogs way too late in the day, nighty night, bon nuit, sogni d’oro…I like that last one: dreams of gold.

And all of the kittens in the kitten bowl get adopted – really – so it’s a great thing for kitties who need homes and its sponsored by the North Shore Animal League which is supported by Beth Stern and her famous husband Howard And it has nothing to do with politics which is great, especially this year as you know Loulou

Uh Oh – I see you giving that little cutie the Evil Eye!!! Like what is that thing doing in my selfie………..it’s written all over your expression, hehheh. But I think that kittie’s a real cutie – but, Loulou, you are a beauty; There’s a difference. It’s called age and maturity (which we have). That “je ne sais quoi”. We have that too, whatever it is.
We missed all the bowls this past weekend. Kitten, puppy. didnt mind missing the super bowl,though. We’re not big fans of sports. Glad you made the kitten bowl and got the selfie.

Wow, it’s kind of hard to explain the Kitten Bowl. It’s two teams of kittens playing football. With some video fudging, actually. Cute -as you might imagine a bunch of kittens being, chasing each other and various toys around. American football, although it actually ends up looking more like soccer (your Mama can explain to you about football & soccer, I think.) It’s fun to watch. There is also a Puppy Bowl and Fish Bowl. Really.
Oh, wow, and I, a soccer fan, should have watched! But now I really am wondering about a Fish Bowl! How on earth do they swim against each other or hit a ball? Will go search and see if I can find the game on YouTube. Thank you so much for the explanation.
Yes – I imagine you can watch them all on You Tube. Of course, the biggest game Sunday involved the Superb Owl !

Ya’ might also be able to watch it on youtube, but we didn’t check. It’s really just a bunch of adoptable kittens doin’ there thing on a set dat’s made to look like a football field. They have commentators dat talk ’bout da kitties and such. It’s purretty fun and is on da Hallmark movie channel every year. They also had a puppy bowl this year. And talk is, they’re goin’ to do one fur baseball me thinks. We don’t really know sports, but ya’ can check their website to see. you be lookin’ gawjus as always. Big hugs.

It’s okay that you didn’t know about Kitten Bowl. There are really cute kittens there, all needing forever homes. We’ve seen it in past years but we don’t have that channel anymore so we missed it. Doesn’t matter. Our sister Tessa usually hogs the screen and blocks the view. Sometimes you can find videos of it online, and we hope we get to see yesterday’s Kitten Bowl sometime soon!
