I’m in love.

You know, kitties are not supposed to be very friendly with dogs, but a friend of mama and papa, or rather, two friends, recently sent her something wonderful in an email because they are artists and incredibly original artists and mama and papa knew them in LA, that huge city across the water, and when mama showed the piece of art to me, well—I just fell in love.

That is, if a tiny black and white kitty can be in love with a 5′ by 7′ piece of green metal made into a DOG!

All I am saying is that I just loved it immediately and it’s for sale but we don’t have the money or the space in our little yard for it and so I asked mama to put it on the computer and I can just sit here next to her and gaze at its beauty and originality. But maybe someone out there has space for one of the most beautiful doggies I have ever seen!

Mama says that Karen and Tony Barone are unique. Here’s a story mama tells about them:

First of all, you have to see what they look like in normal everyday attire—well, I’ll get to that.

So there they are in a tiny town in Italy and Karen has on a long cape, which she wears in winter in Italy to keep warm, and they see a procession, which they join and they walk along with the rather odd assortment of people in the group and they end up at a cemetery and it is the service for that great director, Federico Fellini!!!

And if you see these guys, you say, “Wow, they are straight out of a Fellini movie” and their brains must work like his or his like theirs because they have such fun with their art and their lives and mama and papa really loved the plates they bought from Karen, on which wonderful food (even sometimes mine, when it’s a very special night) is served in this house and reminds them of their nice friends in LA.

I sort of want to curl up on one of the plates and just take a nap, they are so welcoming….

So if anyone wishes to have this marvel, my favorite doggy in his/her back yard or school or anywhere it fits, just email info@baroneart.com.

Here’s the link to see Great Scott. And guess what? He doesn’t eat much!!

Maybe I could get visiting rights?
