I know I have written about this before but, this is most interesting. I was doing my blog this morning when those news things came up on my computer that AOL flashes across the screen before you can get to your emails or start in on your own writing, and this is what I saw in an article on women who are taking up arms in Iraq against ISIS to protect women and children who are being kidnapped, murdered and abused by these monsters.

I learned something I had never known!

The unit, started by a brave Hazeba Nauzad, has acquired 30 women so far who learn how to shoot and vow to protect themselves and their loved ones from the menace of ISIA. Perhaps there is a chance, after all, of getting rid of these vermin who have so drastically poisoned our free societies.

The women in the unit are convinced Islamic State militants are scared of women fighters “because they think if they are killed by a woman, they will not go to heaven,” said Nauzad.

Hallelujah!  I hope we hear more about these brave women and their quest. I wonder if ISIS members were bitten by a female kitty, they wouldn’t make it to heaven? Kitties, unite! Let us give our support to these amazing women who will not take abuse any longer

But the question is always: Does one fight violence with violence?  Perhaps it’s the only way when you have no defences against a strong, completely unethical enemy.  These emotions are certainly stirred by violations of a society by a group such as ISIS.

Mama says that if anyone tried to hurt me or someone she loves, she would tear him/her to pieces.  Maybe these feelings are more primal than we imagine.  And this all-woman unit is simply saying no to ISIS on their terms.  It’s time for rebellion like theirs.  I hope they engender more women to take up arms.
