Sleep Over

Dreaming of Loulou…

Oh, boy, mama says that if you want to have fun and get played with and wake up early in the morning and have a really cute little anthro wear you out before breakfast, then have your grandkids come for a sleepover!

Those kids are something else and I tried to give it my best late last night when we played hide behind the curtain and chase the exercise elastic and wad up the antique sheets with your paws and then look bored with it all but I realized that those kids were supposed to BE IN BED at that hour and had to put on the jammies and brush their fangs and all that stuff that little anthros do, so I looked even more bored and they left me alone.

But this morning, I was tuckered out after having stayed up too late so I got up on my chair at breakfast and to make me feel better, mama gave me a tiny pancake along with the little anthros’ Mickey Mice and Loulou and Hearts and Flowers—all shapes of the pancakes mama makes—and since it was my first pancake, I did not have maple syrup but only a tiny smidgeon of butter and I felt ready to face the day.

Man, pancakes are something else.

HEY, these are too small!!!

All mama does is put some flour in a bowl and add a pinch or two of baking powder and a dash of salt and sugar and then she mixes in milk that’s beaten up with an egg and then she stirs in some melted butter and then she heats the pan and makes funny shapes and that’s it.

That one she did of me wasn’t all that hot. Little anthro Margherita came in and took one look and said, “That’s a MOUSE.”

Hey, hey, practice makes perfect and I’m ready for the next stack…

Am I in kitty heaven, or what?
