Mama, don’t forget your pen…
Today mama is signing books at a nearby village for PO Life, a local publication that is WONDERFUL…so many articles by such interesting people about this region and its history and fun help with learning French through jokes and vocabulary.
It’s awfully quiet around here with all the grandkids and their mama and their partners going off to so many different places–London, Utrect, Rome, and mama’s stepdaughter is headed for Tanzania!!!!
Mama’s is going bananas over that – she fell in love with Africa years ago through books and pictures and films and has wanted to go forever but only was in South Africa and never saw the Serengheti or the wildebeest migrations or giraffes entwined or…so many other things, sigh…
Mama’s going to settle for gekkos on our warm house walls and wild birds who come in the morning to feed at their little ‘restaurant’. They’ll do for now.
