Well, mama had her Zoom reunion the other evening with, get this, five anthros, all guys, and all having chosen very, very creative paths. One, Bill Mares, has written several books on beer-making, bee-raising, Trump, you name it.  Another, Kip Kumler, went from the corporate world into wine making after having been a captain of a gun boat in Viet Nam.  Ian Mc Mahan is a psychologist and wrote a book called Adolescence, and Roger Lewis writes a column for The Washington Post on Architecture, among many other endeavors such as political cartoons.

Mama was tickled to see these classmates after…er…several eons.

And if there is one thing mama gives thanks for in her life (aside from papa and me, of course), it is a rigorous early education with very good teachers and these wonderful new-found friends.

And mama says it’s still a bit strange to make contact after such a long time.  BUT…there were good laughs and lots of things discussed and another reunion is planned as one of the anthros couldn’t be in on this one.

I wonder if I could get together with MY old feral buddies and hang out a bit.  But where would I find them?  And do they really want to see me after all this time?  I just hope they all  found homes the way I did, that’s what I always hope for homeless, often abandoned kitties.

HEY, mama forgot to ask if any of these classmates have KITTIES! How could she forget THAT?

Well, good thing there’s another one coming up — I will certainly have questions for that one!
