WOw! Amazing! Some of it made me dizzy…some seemed a bit weird and spooky,and some was beautiful!
Loved the animations, especially the cranes.
OH OH mama loved the cranes, too, and the strange spectres on the wall of one room. Such a magnificent artist…imagine the drawings being transfered to wood blocks an then to paper with all those intricate colors.
What an amazing exhibit!
It was magical and so glad mama could share a bit of it with you.

SO glad you liked it…a little glimpse into Hokusai’s mastery. He DRAWS every woodcut, hundreds of them, before the woodcutters get to work..can you imagine how many woodcutters it takes to do this amount of art over a lifetime?
