I followed along up here when mama did her exercises this afternoon…I love having company, haha.
*****
Well, today was the windiest day we have had this winter…110 kph…66mph!!! The open market was blowing all over the place and mama took refuge in our sweet little bistro, the Cafe Sola, with two of her Collioure friends, the three of them laughing and sipping noisette coffees, which just means an espresso with a little whipped milk in it, and then they all went home to get out of the wind that still has not let up!!! It’s 7pm here and blowing like crazy.
But the morning was sweet and the evening is about to become sweet, too. Mama is making fish and chips so that papa can try out a catsup that is biologique/organic.
Big happenings around here, right? Haha, life is fun on Sunday…..
Just a little fun pic–sidewalks in ancient Rome:

Rome sidewalk

It must be windy all over the world! We are under a wind warning all day here. I would trip over those cobblestones if I wasn’t paying attention, let alone on high heels…which I don’t wear…teehee!
Oh, you can bet your wedgies that mama tripped a lot in the past before she got wise to Bernie Mev elastic shoes!!! She wore those 6-inch heels for too long before wise-ing up.
I recall my first look at the Appian Way. I am still thunderstruck. Love the picture you posted here too!
Oh, we LOVE the Appian way and there was a great little porchetta stand there years ago…num num.
I hate it when it’s windy. Can I come over for fish and chips? Sounds delicious.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
Would love you to come for fish and chips! Just so we know ahead of time, haha.
It was really windy here the other day, Loulou, and now today the winds are back. We don’t like it.
The wind makes mama a little coo coo…..
Nice that your Mama has friends to enjoy a break with – girl talk and coffee…..nice! We remember the beautiful old streets and sidewalks in Rome – seems like a lifetime ago we were on our honeymoon exploring that gorgeous city.
Big Hugs, Pam
Oh, wish you were there when mama and papa are there!!! WHAT FUN that would be…
Happy Monday
I am #14 on the linky
Much love
Will take a look but we did visit you yesterday..lovely Maine photos.
Definitely better indoors with coffee than outside with wind, the blowing sort rather than colic, MOL
Have a wonderful week, and we do hope that new catsup was lovely

Well, papa says it’s too sweet so we’re back to the original, not organic but what the heck..
Those windy days can certainly take the starch out of a person. I hope the catsup lives up to its reputation.
A bit too sweet. Mama used to make her own but our tomato crop is pathetic lately, or was last year. We’ll see this year…
Glad your mama had a place to get out of the wind. XO
OMC, that wind was BIG BIG BIG.
It’s supposed to be stormy here in the wee hours of the morning, yikes!
Brian’s Home ~ Forever
Oh, darn, stormy is not fun…but spring is attempting a comeback.
Wow ! We had winds Friday and into SWaturday where gusts at one of the airports hit 85 mph. Lots of damage but it missed us except for lots of limbs down..Glad you and the town survuved.
Well, they are back and blowing away all the dirt on the patio…yea!!
