Comfy on my cloud…no labor today!
*****
Non, we do not celebrate Labor Day in France, but we are sure that many of you are doing just that–barbeques, gatherings with friends, and in gerneral taking a day off to celebrate workers.
It’s also Monday musing day for sparks so let’s use this one.
“Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you.” — Walt Whitman
Well, most of us will not have trouble doing that in this sunny world! And we need so many shadows behind us right now…let’s hope they stay there.
But mama has fun with some shadows so I let her put this one in, on the way to market…

Mama would love to have a couple of those leg inches…

That’s a really good Spark.
Merci, Island kitties…shadows behind, sunny smiles up front.
That’s a lovely pic of your mama’s shadow, Loulou, and of you all curled up and happy.
Merci, Ms M. I may have to change clouds one day, but I’m standing in a little for the kitty who has not found us yet…
I wouldn’t mind having a few of those inches, myself. I hope you had a beautiful Monday.
Merci, Ms Messymimi. We must do our stretches, haha.
Maybe the French do not celebrate Labor Day , but we have heard ‘they aren’t as grim about working as Over Here.
Oh, that is so true…they revere their August and their Saint’s Days and whatever else can offer a little rest from the workaday world, and they also walk and bike and climb and swim until they are 90 and more…healthy from exercise but also rest and recreation throughout the year. They ARE getting more workaholic in some areas, which is good….
That was an excellent Spark! I hope you had a good day at the market!
The market was lovely and full of fall thingies…
That is a great spark. XO
Mercy Ms E…we like our shadows behind us, too.
Wow, that is one HUGE shopping cart…LOL!
HAHA, mama is amazed every shopping day that her cart, which is actually very tiny, can hold so much stuff! She says, “Oh, I”m just getting a melon” and you know the rest………papa has to come pick her up because she can’t lift the cart, haha.
