I’ve been thinking about this debacle with our shutdown, and I strongly feel that the government workers should get DOUBLE pay for the time they were not paid and had to wait for the idiots who pay them to come to their senses!
That would be justice.
And Nancy Pelosi could sell ice cubes in Antartica, in my book, although she would probably have better ideas about how to market Antartican ice to help the inhabitants.

hehheh – mama adores Mme. Pelosi and is just wanting Trump to GO AWAY – preferably to jail in one of those s***h*** countries as he called them. Or maybe Guantanamo. Or on the other side of his fence in Mexico, since he’s too fat to make it back through the tunnel!! Well, one can fantasize. Here, it’s not bad, we walked all morning yesterday and will do the same today. They’d better take my poussette this time though! Wish you were here, Loulou, we could cuddle and nap in my little space surrounded by all my furry toys.

LouLou, I hope a solution comes out of this shutdown – Germany has something in their governing precepts that prevents shutdowns AT ALL.
Well, perhaps we could learn from others instead of thinking we know everything. A shutdown is like taking hostages, to me.
