Yakity Yak, Don’t Talk Back

I am not looking at my portrait–I am getting ready to MEOW loudly before ascending the stairs!

Well, here’s the thing.

Every morning after I have breakfast and a little pe…er…walk in the garden, I come back in and mama and papa are having their p’tit déj and every  single morning I go to the stairs, stand on the third one up, turn toward them and MEOW loudly.

I keep staring at them, and mama asks, “Loulou, what do you want?  Do you  want help up the stairs?  Is your front leg hurting?”

Another MEOW!!

“LOULOU, WHAT DO YOU WANT?  Out with it!”

(At this point, when mama leaves her coffee and comes over to help me, I DART up the stairs like a rocket, my arthritis forgotten, haha.)

SO..mama wants to know WHAT I am saying!   Do you know, dear reader? Does anyone?

Papa says not to worry, I’m just letting him and mama know where I’m  going, but I do this every single day come hell or high water and even when mama follows me up the stairs, I simply pass out on the bed, zzzzz.

Maybe it’s just an attention-getter, as if I didn’t have enough of that around here haha.
