WHAT’S THAT NOISE OUTSIDE? I’M FEELING WINDED BY THE WIND!
As in LOTS of wind out there. Mama has been cuddling me because the sound of so much wind is a bit disturbing to this kitty at times. The windows rattle, the outside furniture blows around, the lemons and kiwis are blown off the tree! It’s WILD around here. So this is my cuddle blog until Old Mr. Wind blows out! A few weeks ago, near here at a point down by the sea, the wind speed was 220 kph, which is ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SIX MILES PER HOUR! If I had been outside at that place near us, I would have blown all the way to Africa across the Mediterranean.
That’s why mama is holding me tight with both hands.
At that wind speed, you would have lost all your furrs, Loulou, had you been outside! EEK! Your momma is a grr-eat protector!

The photo of LouLou and Suzanne in the email notification shows that LouLou is a much bigger kitty girl than I realized!
That said, the photo shows LouLou in a classic tummy up pose I’m glad she had Mom to comfort her during the wind. That can be pretty scary stuff, that window-rattling wind!
Hey, I’m 6.4 kg. and I PERSONALLY THINK I AM THIN. Others do not agree. Yes, I’m bigger than some think.
We really don’t like the wind either.
We get bad wind storms here, they knock out the power and they are scary for kitties (and humans.

OMG – that is incredible. Lucky you to be inside and cuddled!! Well, at least we don’t have to deal with SNOW! Winds at 220 kph – never experienced that – but not into windsurfing either. Whew. I need some kibbles just to get me past thinking about that……
