Well, okay, okay, I’ll be fair. I actually fell back into my old lovable ways after only about, oh, 8 hours and took back MY bed as ransom for THEIR doggy shots, which I will destroy in about 2 seconds.
Still, it’s so nice to have company again and warm knees at night and being the center of a fuss and snuggle with heaps of praise upon my head since I was such a good kitty while THEY gallivanted.
But, really, folks, are these doggies that cute? Okay, the first one does have je ne sais qua, but what is the qua in the rest of those dudes?

Still, we are making amends, whatever they are, and I think since there might be a risotto of scallops for dinner, I just might finagle one or two of those babies into my dinner dish…

Hey, the scallops came my way but I turned up my nose…for 2 minutes.
Giggling, I am. That first doggie is even cuter than my Ikea toy (the dog one – I have an entire menagerie!!). And the one that needs a haircut is smiling at you Loulou!!!! And that adorable little bulldog has a “who, MOI?” so yep – he probably did get into the chocolate……..and the white dude – he’s not spacey – he’s contemplating. The future of mankind (dogkind?), nuclear proliferation – or maybe just what he’ll have for lunch. One of those things for sure. Going out for long walk in this beautiful weather. Papà gonna push me in the stroller. Love that. Maybe we can take a ride together when you come to visit? You can take a tranquilizer or a shot of homemade limoncello first.

SHE IS IN HOT WATER, that’s for SURE. Hmmmm…she loves hot water, terme, spas, hot tubs. Guess I’m just giving her a present!
Then someone needs to get Jan to abandon us so we can get what we want when she returns. But we can’t get rid of her even for a couple of days. We know. The dogs have tried to lose her on their walks a few times but she keeps finding her way right back.
You bad kitties and doggies can lose Jan to us anytime you want because we know that she thinks of no one but YOU bad kids!! I hope you can manaage a pop top or can opener really well.
