Is it the dawn of a new day?
Perhaps. A least there will be a thorough clearing of the trash accumulated over four years of T’s attempts to destroy the US government, but so many observations of top political analysts bring to the fore the years before Trumpism that enabled him to destroy so many building blocks of a previously healthy United States.
Perhaps, however, it was not that healthy, and a weakened immune system allows a virus to take hold.
Still, we now have a leader. And he is an honest, ethical builder. And he wants to use strong blocks from everyone, not just the elite wealthy who control most of the economy of the USA.
He will be watched carefully with hope, I believe, from the working classes, from the Black Lives Matter organizations, from the medical world, from the poverty-stricken, from the homeless, from the police departments all over the US, from the criminal system critics, from the educational reform organizers, teachers, students, everyone aspiring to learn, to better their lives.
Worldwide, everyone will be watching and, hope beyond hopes, contributing to the conquest of COVID and the rebuilding of our nation
So many countries have breathed a sigh of relief. So many countries aspire to reconnect with the USA, with positive progress against the pandemic, world-wide hunger, global warming, peace, inequality and so much more.
I hope we will all work together, despite differences. Brotherhood, sisterhood, from sea to shining sea…
United we stand. Perhaps for the first time in a long, long time.

People blindly followed Hitler. Trump is a liar and a hateful person. I don’t see how the religious leaders muzzle themselves. He is a devil in disguise.

We have been elated by how the rest of the world has reacted (and who hasn’t…Roosha for instance) Yes, in the 1940’s it was no longer possible to isolate ourselves from the rest of the world, and it is certainly less so now. It is good to rejoin our allies.
Allies are what make the world a more peaceful and safer place. Hope we get more.
You are so right. The disadvantaged, the poor and every minority will be watching. Everyone needs two things in life health and education, and most people in the US did not have access to either thanks to that evil EVIL man and his cronies.
