WOW, there are TWO of them!
We have shown you the little cherubs outside our window here in Rome, but he has a companion! Mama had to lean pretty far out of the window to get a pic but I was watching…
They are also called ‘putti’, which just mean a little boy with wings, also called ‘cherub’.
And of course, they are all over in the paintigs and sculptures here.
Cherubs, cherubs, everywhere! There are probably books about these little cuties.
But of course, I think the sculptures should have been cats.
Cats would do a great job as decor and guardians.
Oh, would they ever!!!!

They really are very sweet and watch over mama and papa’s bedroom…
Mom has called me her little cherub from time to time and of course I am a little ROUNDED and chubby but I don’t have wings….yet.

There is one around the corner from where mama and papa live…a very famous one. We’ll put it in again, as I think I wrote about it a couple of years ago.
