I’m a little melancholy over holidays this year…are you?
Well, actually it wouldn’t be such a crowd, if we could find one 🎄 that is! Because this year is so very different and strange. We’re not seeing my stepbrother and stepsister and their kids and so many other friends everywhere, so we are having a pretty laid-back holiday but with a really sweet little “tree” that Mya’s mama and papa gave us two years ago. Its electric!
We forgot to take it with us to Rome in 2018, THANK HEAVEN, or we would be having a big pot of nasturtiums instead, and it is really hard to hang ornaments and lights on a nasturtium, haha.

And some lovely cards are coming in, which lifts our spirits A LOT! Merci to all…
Maybe you can see your family via Skype, Zoom or Facetime? That’s how I’ll be visiting with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie and my cousins this xmas.
Yes, we are having a zoom and video WhatsApp on different days with different relatives.

Oh boy mama will be happy that you love our little weird tree so thank you very much and maybe next year it will have leaves on it or branches.
It is a different holiday this year for sure….but my little family (me, Mom and Dad) will be together and we are healthy and that’s the very BEST gift of all right now. We are hopeful that NEXT Christmas will be full of celebrating the END of a very sad and painful period in the world. We love your electric tree!

teehee – we have our tree up TOO! The same! And I have a very fancy leash and harness (tiger printed) from Dog Star! But it’s for “special occasions” – but looks like there won’t be any for a long time! So I guess when it’s opened it will hang in the hall as a decoration. I do miss the restaurants. Especially Romolo!!!!
It’s funny but we are not missing anything because of all the cooking…but we miss FRIENDS, like you.

Oh, it will be, Brian, it will be, but only if people have the vaccine and take it. Otherwise, we are masked and distanced for a long time. And travel at holidays will only cause another spike in late January, sigh….
