Allora, our Tuesday is not quite trickling yet but tomorrow, with friends arriving tonight after a long drive, it is supposed to POUR buckets!! So sorry for them, but maybe the weather-person will have some positive changes for our beautiful city.
It is the first visit to Rome for our dear Norwegian husband; his lovely wife has been here before but it is so exciting to see a first reaction to Rome, especially the long landscape of ancient ruins that one passes just driving to another part of the city. And the Circus Maximus where chariot races were held….now home to an organic Sunday open market!
