It’s THURSDAY already?
Well, we are thankful that those who are ill are getting much better and hope everyone will stay masked and safe, even if mandates are lifted (too soon!).
We are glad that there seems to be some sort of diplomatic discussion about Russia’s encroachment on Ukraine’s borders.
BUT meanwhile, just to lift your spirits, watch this AMAZING skater who feels as if she is part of the ice. Mama, papa and I watched Kamila the other night and we all got teary over her grace and skill as a skater. Her score was evidently one of the highest ever given in the Olympics.
We are also thankful for sun and lemons and flowers peeping up through winter’s soil.
We are thankful, above all, for Heather Cox Richardson, the best researcher on politics that we have ever read, all in one concise daily newsletter. She gives one hope for a saner world.
Meanwhile, Thursdays wear me out, I’m so thankful for so much!

The mom has watched that skater too. But has some concerns about her being able to compete considering she tested for a banned substance. May explain why at 15 she can do what she does.
Entirely possible but she had been skating long befoe last December. Go to YouTube and look at her at 5-years old…amazing.

Yes, but now the authorities are examening a possible drug infraction of a minor, as she is only 15. I’m sure it is in your news. But oh, what a skaker.
Just woke up – it’s Friday here!! I’m in bed with Mamma – but the news is “Paris bans covid protests” – hope Nice will do the same!! They are getting smaller as more people are getting sick! We have had our vaccines – well, not me. YIKES – can doggies and kitties get covid?
There have been cases of a cat gettong the virus from an owner, yes, and the white-tailed deer evidently have it. You can google it as I don’t know much yet. In general, dogs and cats do not give it to their families.

Ha ha, she is a good person, NOT in Nice, but nice. And I was given a reprieve as she had to attend to a sick horse.

HAH, it was cancelled because my NICE vet had a problem with her horse and had to leave early, HAH!
Hope your vet visit goes quickly and well dear Loulou….We watched the video of the incredible skating performance – have NEVER seen a skater manage so many amazing moves before in a performance. What a score! The commentator said she was the most spectacular performer he’d EVER seen and we agree. It was a shame she had a fall but she MORE than made up for that with all those spins and leaps and moves. BRAVO!
