My paws are refreshing…
*****
Merci to brave journalists who tell us the truth behind the Republican lies.
Merci to those trying with all their resources to keep our country free, to keep Medicare and Social Security, which the government is trying to abolish. Yes, abolish. Your future security, your retirement, your freedoms.
If you are tired of my mama’s insistence on publishing these very dangerous paths on which the Trump administration is taking us, please don’t read and she’ll try to calm down, but the midterms are coming up and these monsters have to be put back in their cages where they belong. Inflation is at 4.2%, and how are your grocery and gas prices fitting into your budget lately?
Your taxes are helping pay for a war we should never have started and cannot win. Your savings are being eaten away by the increased cost of living, Your kids are worrying about their futures and their children’s futures and putting our country back together again after its devastation by the demented “leader” of what was the greatest country on the planet.
Devastated in a few months….
Let the Albanians be a model for resistance. We are thankful that they took to their streets to protest the development of a protected area that was NOT for sale.
And we are thankful for the brave men and women who are valiant in their attempts to put the criminal, child molester in prison.
Trump visited Epsteins’s island 345 times. And he didn’t just go there for a swim…
OUI, mama, it’s time to bow out.
And thank you for reading but we understand if you do not wish to at times…
Dreaming of a better world…

Every day it’s something new. We only hope things will get better.
Mama thinks we are headed down a new path, thanks to the Epstein files being in Washington.
We understand your despair, and your anger.
Merci, but do know that mama dispels her anger pretty quickly by finding news of so many great minds taking on our pathetic government and finding its Achilles heel….
Freedom of speech is so important, Loulou. We should never be silenced. I love your old kitty pic, always something to be thankful for.
Oui, tres important! And we kitties neven give it a thought…we just voice what we want!!
I’m certain we all dream of a better world…..and keeping hope alive is important.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
All of us are keeping hope alive, Ms Teddy’s mama, and it’s pretty powerful right now.
We can all dream of a better world, no matter if we agree on everything. The few things we don’t, we can work out somehow because there is always an answer. It may not come right away, but it will come.
Hear, hear, that is mama’s view, too. There is always an answer somewhere and just has to be found.
O]ah LouLou we share Mama’s fears and frustration.
So much of the whole world shares aprehension and horror at this imbecile but his is on his way out.
You don’t need to calm down. I admire people like you who write these things. I am afraid to lose readers. XO
Merci, Ms Ellen, your words gave me courage and yes, mama knows that there will always be those that turn away, with good reason! It’s so difficult to deal with, completely understandable if one has to take a break. Mama and papa takes breaks, believe it or not, or they would go bananas.
That was a wonderful post and I hope things get better when after the November elections!
Brian’s Home ~ Forever
Merci, Mr T and let’s hope there ARE elections.
No, Mama, don’t bow out! Voices need to be heard, voices loud and clear, over and over, do matter. We appreciate yours.
Merci beaucoup, you have given mama’s morning a boost, merci.
We agree 150% with you on the craziness here right now but it is exhausting worrying 24 hours a day so Mom and Dad just don’t. Yes we all vote but even that doesn’t guarantee a THING these days. We try to focus on wide open spaces and parks, gardens and things that make us smile. We’ve been alive for a very very long time and seen just about everything but never thought we’d see this. Anyway, back to our happy thoughts – and sending you some too.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
MERCI, Ms P, we need that, too, and we DO spend time in the garden and smell the Sweet Love roses and gardenias, which have JUST come out on a 10-year old plant (!) thaks to Bio Bloom! It is magic for flowering plants! And we do take a break from this craziness and it’s nice to be reminded, merci. A litte Scotch helps, too….or a glass of vino….
