DO KIDS REALLY THINK UP THOSE THINGS?
We had to put these in, from mama’s cousin, who often sends really funny starts to our mornings. MERCI.
An elementary School Teacher had twenty-six students in her class. She presented each child in her classroom the 1st half of a well-
known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb. It’s hard to believe these were actually done by first graders. Their insight may surprise you.
While reading, keep in mind that these are first-graders, 6-year-olds, because the last one is a classic!

Clever kids! That last one is so funny!
Wasn’t that hilarious. Mama thinks maybe big anthros make up these things, but who knows. Kids do way amazing things and they are on YouTube all the time with quips.And it was no joke long ago when mama’s mama came home and told us that mama’s brother, around 5, wanted to go to church to meet gladly, the cross-eyed bear.
Love that one, too. A first-grader? What are they learning so young, haha?
How fun! Kids are wonderful – they react honestly and from their own limited experience of life. They aren’t TRYING to be clever – they are clever “naturally” !! Love this…
