Thank You, Canada

MAMA…I can’t snooze with all these WEEDS covering my warm stones!

😻😻😻

Merci, Canada, for standing up to a “leader” who wants to annex that sovereign country as the 51st state for the USA.

All Canadians have joined together to protest this absurd move to make Canada part of the USA. Absurd. Canadians are protesting all over that great country, and protests are beginning in the USA.

I will put in a link that I feel is relevant to the change in our nation, and you may read or not read. I fully understand simply ‘tending your garden’, for what is more satisfying and uplifrting than a garden, even when full of winter weeds, as is mama’s, haha.

Thanks for our cold taking a hike for a couple of days. Sun and birdies and no wind has energized the village and anthros are out on the long path along the sea, taking their Vitamin D and dreaming of spring.

All I can see in our garden is rosemary and lavendar. The rest is a barren stretch of mulch, dotted by oxalis that HAS to be removed as it multipies in a very irritating way, haha. My claws would work wonders on this stuff but I have other fish to fry, so to speak.

As in snoozing.

Are these weeds taking a hike or WHAT?

Guess I’ll just snooze on my cloud…jeez, sometimes it’s hard to get help around here.

Thank you for listening.

We love this photo of you Loulou……!! And of course we find it embarrassing that our country is looking like it’s fallen off the rails. We have daily reminders of that!

Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

Rosemary and lavender are wonderful, Loulou. I cook a lot with rosemary, and my sweet dog loves to sniff lavender. He probably finds it calming.

Weeds, weeds and more weeds, that is the story around here, too…well in the not winter months! The worst ones are the invasive ones, such as garlic mustard, imported from Europe, it isn’t toxic, but edible, however it takes over everything, crowding out all the native plants and wildflowers. It’s taken me over 30 years to get somewhat of a handle on those weeds here…I pull them up before they have any chance to make seeds…which can be viable for more than ten years! Imagine that!
Good luck with the oxalis! I wish we only had that to deal with, LOL!

PS: I am Canadian, living for almost 38 years in the USA, but no way would I want to have it become another state…sheesh!

Pesky weeds, I hope they can be run off the place soon and not come back.

I am a fan of Canada staying just the way it is.

LouLou we always love a picture of you in your garden, whether it’s weeds in winter or under a full moon in warmer weather.
