Mama, there’s someone at the door!

Well, I finally found a picture of the wire, not that it is an earth-shaking kind of happening, but still..

Exciting, no?  But just imagine nice, neat cages with tomato plants’ branches pulled through and sweetly supported by holes that mama makes with her wire-cutters.

That is, if they arrive.

BUT – hats off to the delivery services all over the planet (it seems) who are doing a bang-up job of getting things to shut-ins.  They arrive in masks and gloves and ring our bell and leave a package and then disappear quickly into their delivery trucks with a wave.  We barely have time to say MERCI!

Amazing, how many service anthros are making our world continue to spin, don’t you think – hospital staff, trash pickup companies, take-out food preparers, visiting nurses, zooming teachers, zooming businesses, and  more.  So many volunteers,  too, who actually risk their health along with hospital staff – a grand thank-you, merci, grazie, gracias, danke, to all.

Without that chicken wire delivery, we would be tomato-less this summer….

Now let’s hope they grow in this weird weather! A hundred leaves just fell outside as if it were September…strange goings-on.

I’ll just space out here on the gravel with my nip. It’s one of those days…
