1. My biggest pet peeve at Christmastime is __it is too commercial and so many have nothing.
2. Bonito flakes and egg nog__ is are on my list to Santa.
3. My Christmas to-do list still includes __too many things to fit here!

Loulou, Chili Bruce has decided that napping in the middle of the futon, while under the blanket, is his favoritest place on Earth, so The Hubby and I must make sure we don’t just flop down there.

I totally agree with you on #1! Peeps have forgotten why we even *have* this day to celebrate and what it really means…so sad.
When I was a young girl in middle school, we had just moved and my dad was still looking for work to do while he set up his own business…anyways, our Christmas was in the laundry basket…for 5 peeps. We didn’t even have a tree, so I dragged the one home from our classroom…
When school resumed, my classmates wanted to know waht I had received as gifts…I was so embarrassed, but then those girls really did not understand, so I just told them that we had gone to church and had a good time together as a family with a good meal…yes we had that! Mmm,, I remember our relatives had come over and we had a big turkey. We were not rich, but we had eachother and always there was enough to eat, plus a roof over our heads.
When you have each other in a family, that is all that matters. Young people can be cruel in their ignorance of others’ situations, and being poor is ot a crime nor should it ever be embarrassing. It just is, and very sad for those who are. So many have begun with so little and become so MUCH! Have a lovely holiday with your loved ones.
Everybody (4 people,neighbors) petted me and said I was soooo beautiful. My head swimming! They threw my toys and I was spoiled SO MUCH!!! I was the center of attention – Like YOU!!!!! But they didn’t give me food – HARRUMPH!!!
Four people were at your house? Wow. We have not had anyone inside for an kind of celebration yet. MIGHT have a Christmas dinner wth two, but still contemplating it. We may ask them to be tested as we don’t know where they have been nor with whom.
They all had their SHOTS!!! 3 Pfizer!!!
Good, but to be sure you have to have had a PCR test 24 hours before any event to rule out asymptomatic carriers. I know, I know, but if asked we would be glad to do it, no problem. It is painless and takes about 4 seconds, easy peasy.

Loulou that is a PERFECT personal couch. Just the right size….room to stretch but cozy at the same time. I also like your fill-ins and I agree with you that there most definitely is a Santa Claus. We do agree with you about Christmas being too commercialized – my Mom says it didn’t USED to be like that when she was younger but these days it seems people either have WAY WAY MORE than they need or not enough – the “in betweeners” are lost in the shuffle. Anyway, I’m happy to have what I have and feel lucky for that. Santa – I’ve been VERY GOOD – Honest!
