That was an exhausting speech….
Well, now that the USA has broken relations with its closest allies and friends, stopped funds for education, medical research, science research, women’s rights, children’s vaccines against measles, polio and more, and in too many ways to mention here, set our country back to the middle ages, I will honor Wordless Wednesday with two words only: Stay aware.

Wow, that’s quite the lettuce patch!
And it came up after mama literally THREW the seeds over some dirt and covered it up and voila.
We keep fingers, toes, and eyes crossed things will quit getting worse and turn around. We have to keep hope in our hearts. As for the garden – things are springing up there aren’t they – the lettuce looks VERY tasty!

That lettuce was a complete surprise to mama…it just came up and stayed for months! It’s that pick-again kind that just keep growing no matter what.

As we have written, silence is NOT golden, not now. Loved a WAPO headline this morning (tho admittedly greatly disappointed in WAPO of late) … “How to lose a century in 43 days”.
Great and true headline and yes, mama is really upset with WAPO on many fronts. WHERE IS SOMEONE OR SOME COUNTRY THAT WILL SLAP THIS BULLY ON HIS NOSE??? He is destroying our country and is IN BED with PUTIN. Does anyone remember who Putin IS????
