Lit up to be lazy…
*****
Well, mama and especially papa need a rest after that long drive…3 days of freeway but yes, a couple of pit stops in nice place. Still, sitting for hours in a car is not mama’s idea of excitement…mama reads nws of the world to the driver and can’t wait to say ‘Lunch break’!
Rome is lovely and sunny and today is the family lunch together after many months and there will be visitors a couple of tiimes, the mother of one who has never seen this lovely city. And there are places mama and papa have never been, too, even after having lived in Rome–little hidden places that, thanks to Instagram, they might even try to find! A mural from the 1200s at a convent a secret garden on one of Rome’s hills, and more…mama will try to take pics of these jewels so that we can travel together.
Happy Sunday to all…and thank you for sticking with us in the gaps, haha.
This is at a place they stopped to rest. Lovely sea…

What a beautiful scene. We can see why your mama and papa love it.
Well, si, it is so, so lovable a city.
There is always more to explore and discover.
Oui oui oui and mama hopes to see the secret garden that no one sees often….
I hope they are home safe and sound and getting plenty of rest!
Brian’s Home ~ Forever
HAH That four-letter word again…YES they both need it and are hoping for some down time together
Glad they arrived safely and are having a good time with family. XO
Lovely weather and maybe maybe the artichokes are coming in…mama will be in heaven.
Enjoy your visit, and have fun hunting out the new spaots!
Will put a reminder in mama’s head to photogragh all.
Looking forward to seeing your Mama’s pictures of Rome, LouLou. A city with the history of Rome always has something new (er – old?) to see, even if you’ve lived there forever. Mummy says it’s true of London, where She was born and grew up, and true of Jerusalem, where She has lived most of her life.
WOW what a varied city life your mama has lived and is living. Jerusalem must be especialy challenging…….Mama’s stepdaughter and two step grankids live in London and love it.
How lovely that after so long you are discovering great new places to visit.
Have a wonderful stay, fine food and stimulating and happy conversation. I hope you have a great trip home too, when it comes, Loulou and family.
Purrs to all

MERCI, Ms Erin, for your good wishes. Sometimes mama wishes she were on the way home again, haha….
