Today is liberation day in Italy, and here is the partisan song, made famous because of this day.
Unfortunately the tricoloi airplanes are not performing until June 2, but here they are, in all their glory.
It’s really fun to sing and papa’s ex has promised to sing it with mama at lunch today, much to the dismay of the restaurant, haha.
Gabriella says that they will sing softly…haha, in bocca al lupo as they say in Italy: good luck!!! Those two do very few things softly!
I’ll report back when all the diners leave the trattoria…hey, more leftovers for ME, celestial scraps, haha.
