That said, I’m a bit gussied up for tonight’s Winter Olympics men’s short figure skating, hoping to see Ilia Malinin and voila:
The 2026 Winter Olympics won’t have to wait long for the “Quad God.” U.S. figure skater Ilia Malinin is slated to skate for the first time at the Milano Cortina Games as part of the Olympic figure skating team event on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Do try to see this marvelous 21-year-old skater if you can…he has mastered the quaduple axel and it is breathtaking!

We do not make snacks or anything for the big game as we have no TV (can’t afford it, get our news in a newspaper and on the web), but if you were here I’d make you a tuna dip!

It’s definitely a BIG TV Day….not sure what time things start up but we’ll be watching the Super Bowl and some Olympic events as well. We’ll also have a fire in the fireplace all day since we’re still in the super cold zone around here. None of the ice has melted and won’t considering the temps in the 30s. Our internet has been off since Thursday but is back today ! That is how we get much of our TV these days.
