Mama’s stepson ran in a marathon today and I actually took a video of him as he passed mama and papa on the sidelines where they had positioned themselves to see him pass by! His 53rd birthday was yesterday on Halloween. What a guy!
Perhaps many of you out there are familiar with marathons, but mama and papa got up early to see papa’s son pass by near their apartment, and they said it was incredibly moving.
So many different human beings all doing this very difficult thing together, all striving for a personal best, young, old, short, tall, every color, it is an amazing event to watch. Very uplifting…
Such an achievement for your mama’s stepson, Loulou. I only run when I’m being chased – ha! 😉
Ha ha, I know the feeling, Ms Militza…and mama used to but gave it up after too much pounding on the bod! Now she does standing cardio with Pahla B on video…such a character.

We get to watch the local marathon run past our church each year. It is inspiring.
